"I was skeptical to purchase as I thought that this would just be another generic course. I'm not feeling lost now. Totally worth it. Only regret is that I should have purchased it much sooner."

What people say

The comments I get on my photos all the time.

Comments people leave on Lou's photos
People notice the strength of the color grade.
The colors make them feel something.
The color grade reinforces the story of each photo.

And here's what I don't do to get there:

I don't spend hours guessing what colors would work on each photo.
I don't need to be a software engineer to understand color grading in any software.
I don't lean on presets as my main color tool.
I never get stuck wondering how to start the edit.

I get there with a simple method I built over 7+ years as a photographer and retoucher: The Color Code Method. A clear, repeatable way to color grade each photo with intention, so your colors support the story of the image and make it stand out, without needing to be a Photoshop expert.

What it actually is

What is The Color Code?

The Color Code is the method to finally understand how colors work, how they interact, and how to grade your photos with intention, without relying on presets or needing to be a Photoshop master.

And now it comes as two things, one purchase:

The Method: the 4 steps I run on every single photo.
The Color Lab: my own color tool that does the hardest part, the analysis, for you.

All you do is apply the method, step by step, to find the colors that fit the story of your image and combine them the right way, for a color grade that makes people stop scrolling.

You feel PROUD of your work, because it finally shows how it felt when you took the photo.
The people who see your photos FEEL something, and want to know more about your work.
You feel CONFIDENT capturing, editing and sharing, because you know the exact steps that make color grading easy.
The method

Four steps. Every photo.

1 · IntentionDecide the story and the feeling before you touch a slider.
2 · AnalysisSee the real colors hiding in your photo (in Adobe Color, Photoshop, or the Color Lab).
3 · Color ChoicePick the harmony that supports your story.
4 · TransformationMake the edit, on purpose, in your software.

See how the edit comes last? You've been trying to make it step one this whole time. Apply this, edit along with me, and it becomes second nature in about 7 days.

The Color Lab

Web app · Mac · Windows · iPhone · Android · offline

For years, I used Adobe Color to analyze the colors in my photos. Then I realised I wanted a tool that answered all my needs as a photographer. So I built my own, the Color Lab, and made it available to every Color Code student.

The Color Lab does the hardest part of the method, the analysis, for you. You sample the colors on your photo, name them, and analyze them in one click. It suggests the color harmonies that fit, and tells you exactly which colors to manipulate, and HOW.

It's a web app. It runs right in your browser, so there's nothing to download and no app store involved. Want it to feel like a real app? Add it to your dock or home screen in one tap, on Mac, Windows, iPhone or Android, and use it even offline. It's not a requirement; the method works without it. It's the tool that makes it even easier. And it's yours, for life, the moment you join.

Lou Lou
Who am I

I'm Lou. I started photography 15 years ago, but only got serious about it in 2017, as a hobby. I quickly became frustrated with color grading. So frustrated that I actually gave up photography for a couple of years. I thought I just didn't have "the eye" for color.

Then, while I was learning Motion Design, I found myself in a color theory class for design. And that's when it clicked: what if I applied this to my photos?

From there, I built a method I started using on all of my photos, and it built the style I have today. It changed everything. I started working as a photo retoucher in studios, which led me to learn so much more, thanks to mentors who pushed me to get better. In 2025, I decided to share my color grading method with other photographers. That's how The Color Code was born.

This is the method I wish someone had handed me before I gave up. So if you've ever felt that way, let me tell you: you HAVE the eye. You ARE talented enough. You just need the right method. And once you apply it, I dare you to share your vision with the world, through your beautiful photos.

The honest math

Why $47 is a steal

You can buy a preset pack and hope it works on your photos. Or you can buy a software course, learn every slider there is, and still have no idea why your colors work, or why they don't. And both will probably cost you more than $47.

Or, for $47, you finally understand how to color grade all your photos, in any editing software. Decide to switch software tomorrow? The method still works. Because I don't just tell you how. I teach you the why, in depth.

"Give a photographer a preset and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to work with colors and you feed him for a lifetime."Alain · student

So yeah. That's the difference between renting a look and owning the craft.

Questions

Before you join

If you want to finally understand how to use color in your editing to create mood, tell a story, and make your images stand out, then yes. Beginner or advanced, the method is clear, practical and easy to follow.

No, and this matters. The Color Code teaches color: how to see it, choose it, and direct it. You bring your software skills; I give you the color decisions to make with them. If you've ever felt you know the sliders but not what to do with them, that's exactly the gap this fills.

No. The whole method, and a complete edit, are shown in Lightroom/Camera Raw. The two Photoshop workflows are a bonus. Watch them for the color decisions (which apply anywhere). Plenty of Lightroom-only students get great results without ever opening Photoshop.

For life. And no, nothing to download. The Color Lab is a web app: it runs right in your browser, no app store, no install. Add it to your dock or home screen in one tap on Mac, Windows, iPhone or Android if you like, and it even works offline. Every update is included, free, forever.

YouTube can inspire you, but it leaves you stitching random tips together. The Color Code is one complete, structured method I use on my own photos, with real workflows, concrete examples and exact steps. It helps you actually master it, not just feel motivated for a day.

A video course, plus the Color Lab tool, plus downloadable cheat sheets, worksheets and practice files.

You're covered by a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund. Email me within 14 days and I'll send your money back.
